Special Announcement In response to Governor Waltz's recent "Safe at Home" order, MSBA has changed their policies on how School Board Meetings are held. MSBA's current recommendation is for School Board members to meet via phone conference or through the use of some other electronic means. Due to the health pandemic, the Hastings ISD 200 School Board has determined that it is not feasible for at least one board member, the Superintendent, or the school district's legal counsel to be physically present at the regular meeting location. It is also not feasible at this time for the public to attend future meetings at this time at the regular meeting location due to the health pandemic. For this reason, future meetings will be held via Zoom meetings whenever possible. The meetings will also be recorded for viewing by the public and streamed live whenever possible.

Currently, Board work sessions and regular board meetings will be live streamed on the Hastings Community TV Facebook page. All other committee meetings and other special meetings will be recorded and posted on the District website for public viewing. School Board Standing Committee Meeting Dates:
Please note that due to restrictions that have been put in place due to COVID-19 all Board Committee meetings will be held via teleconference through Zoom, recorded, and will be available to the public to view on the District website.
Facility Committee Meeting:  Friday, July 10th, 2020  10:00 - 11:00 AM
Admin Negotiations (Principals):  Thursday, July 16th, 2020  4:00 - 5:00 PM
Finance Committee Meeting:  Monday, August 17th, 2020  4:00 - 5:00 PM

Public Input at School Board Meetings:
Individuals wishing to address the School Board at a scheduled School Board Meeting must have read Policy 206 which can be accessed by clicking above and then submitting the accompanying "Request to Address the School Board" form.

The form can be obtained by clicking above, by calling the District Office to request a form be sent to them or by picking up a form at the ISD #200 District Offices located at 1000 West 11th Street in Hastings.
